How much time does the typical dialysis patient spend tied to a machine?

When a dialysis patient goes in for dialysis treatment how many hours does the dialysis patient have to be hooked up to the dialysis machine?

It depends on how bad the patients kidney's are but Patients typically are on the dialysis machine 3 to 5 hours.
