Dark tung oil will darken wood although pure tung oil won't darken wood.

With each application of Dark Raw Tung Oil your project may get darker.

If you have achieved the color you want with your first coat, but would like more protection, just apply Pure Tung Oil for remaining coats.

Tung oil hardens wood and once cured and dry the tung oil hardens.
