A tortoise never really stops growing. But they usually reach full size by 5 years. A tortoise in rare cases can live up to 110 years so although they're usually full size by 5 years they can still get bigger over the years.
A Tortoise is a full time long time commitment.
Normal lifespan for a Tortoise though is at least 50 years.
