The reason your room windows vibrate when you slam the door is due to pressure changes as well as the force that vibrates through the walls through your bedroom.
This is due to the differences in air pressures in and outside your room.
The same happens when you open a window when your door is left half open while there are heavy winds blowing outside.
You'd notice that a lot of the door closes as you open the window.
Rattling is caused by either one of two thingsāa loose frame or a loose glass. In both cases, the warm air outside can leak into your home, leading to an increase in your air conditioning usage just so you can keep yourself comfortable this summer.
Single-pane windows provide no air barrier between the outside and the glass, so they permit virtually all outdoor sounds to vibrate through the glass, resulting in a noisy interior.
If one of your outlets is loose and not properly secure, it may produce a vibrating sound.
Or, if some of your wiring is loose or working harder than it's supposed to, either situation may cause vibrations.
Check all the wire connections to ensure there are no breaks or faulty wires.
