The origin of human being is Africa.

The first humans emerged in Africa around two million years ago, long before the modern humans known as Homo sapiens appeared on the same continent.

There's a lot anthropologists still don't know about how different groups of humans interacted and mated with each other over this long stretch of prehistory.

Modern humans originated in Africa within the past 200,000 years and evolved from their most likely recent common ancestor, Homo erectus, which means 'upright man' in Latin.

Homo erectus is an extinct species of human that lived between 1.9 million and 135,000 years ago.

Humans are the most abundant and widespread species of primate, characterized by bipedalism and large, complex brains.

This has enabled the development of advanced tools, culture, and language

A human being is any individual of the genus Homo, especially a member of the species Homo sapiens. a person, especially as distinguished from other animals or as representing the human species: living conditions not fit for human beings; a very generous human being.

A human being could manifest as anything.

Not physically of course, but in terms of our behavior, moods, capacities, vocations, etc., we are the only possibility.

That's why we are curious to know one another. Hence, we have been gifted with the name human being.

The main difference between human being and being human is that 'human being' is generally defined as being a member of Homo sapiens race, while 'being human' means displaying characteristics that are unique to human beings.

Humankind as Persons Who are humans?

The Bible portrays them as self-conscious, willful, innovative entities who, under God, preside over their environment.

In other words, they are persons.

God made each male and female a person in the likeness of His own personhood.

To be human is to balance between hundreds of extremes.

Sometimes we have to avoid these extremes, but at other times it seems we should pursue them, to better understand life.

The binomial name Homo sapiens was coined by Carl Linnaeus (1758).

Names for other human species were introduced beginning in the second half of the 19th century (Homo neanderthalensis 1864, Homo erectus 1892).

The four most abundant elements in the human body – hydrogen, oxygen, carbon and nitrogen – account for more than 99 per cent of the atoms inside you.

They are found throughout your body, mostly as water but also as components of biomolecules such as proteins, fats, DNA and carbohydrates.
