If you take expired Dulcolax it may not work as well.

You won't be harmed or have any health issues when taking expired Dulcolax but it usually won't work as well and so you may not get the desired results from expired Dulcolax as you would if you take fresh Dulcolax.

After taking Dulcolax tablets you should have a bowel movement within 12 to 72 hours.

Dulcolax suppositories generally produces bowel movements in 15 minutes to 1 hour.

Different people may however feel the effects at different times.

Adults and children over 12 can take 1 to 3 tablets in a single daily dose for up to 7 days.

If this is the first time taking a laxative for constipation, we recommend taking 1 to 2 tablets in a single daily dose.

Take tablets 30 to 60 minutes before your normal bedtime to produce a bowel movement the next morning.

Dulcolax Soft Chews and Dulcolax Liquid Laxative are both saline laxatives made with active ingredient magnesium hydroxide.

They provide fast, gentle relief when you need it most. In fact, they provide constipation relief within 30 minutes to six hours.

Dulcolax will take between 10-60 minutes to work and therefore should preferably be used in the morning.

It will usually have its effect within 30 minutes.
