Subutex does help with pain as both Subutex and Suboxone are partial Opiates which help to block pain receptors.

Suboxone does help with nerve pain because the Suboxone actives your Opioid receptors which helps to ease the nerve pain.

Opioid drugs, including buprenorphine, are commonly used to treat neuropathic pain, and are considered effective by some professionals.

Suboxone is usually easier to get off of than methadone because Suboxone is less addictive due to it's chemistry.

The methadone is usually harder to get off than Suboxone.
