If he wants to just mess in it then tell him NO. If he wants to pee and poop in the diapers, tell him yes and let him be a baby for 2 weeks. High Chair, crib, baby foods, pacifiers, baby bottles. For 2 weeks baby him

It's normal for a potty trained child to ask for a diaper to poop in.

If the child pees in the toilet but only poops in a diaper it's okay and you should allow the 3 year old to wear a diaper to poop in.

Simply put the diaper on him and allow him to poop and then remove it.

Then take the poop and dump it into the toilet while encouraging him to poop in the toilet.

I actually pooped in a diaper until I was 6 years old.

For me I just loved the feeling of the poop pushing against my bottom and in the diaper.

I did poop in the toilet but then decided that I didn't like the feeling of pooping in the toilet and missed the feeling of pooping in the diaper.

After all as kids we were so used to the feeling of pooping in the diaper and it felt weird and feels weird to most kids to not have the poop pushing out against the diaper.

Just give it time and eventually your son will stop wanting the diaper to poop in.

Until then just diaper him and allow him to poop in the diaper but still encourage him to use the toilet and eventually he will do so.

Here's some tips to help with your son pooping in diapers.

Use their “comfort place” to your advantage; use the diaper as a tool.

First, keep your child in their underwear during the day.

Allow them to ask you for a diaper when they need to poop.

When your child asks for a diaper, go to the bathroom and put the diaper on the child, no questions asked.
