French kissing and even regular kissing can cause you to get STD's such as CMV, herpes, and syphilis.

CMV can be present in saliva, and herpes and syphilis can be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact, particularly at times when sores are present.

Kissing is generally considered a low-risk activity when it comes to sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

There are two STDs that spread easily through mouth-to-mouth kissing: herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) and human papillomavirus (HPV).

The best way to avoid getting your partner's cold is to avoid close contact with each other until the cold virus is over with.

If possible sleep in separate rooms or one of you sleep on the couch while the other sleeps in the bedroom and wash your hands often, wipe down surfaces, avoid sharing personal items etc.

Also wearing a face mask around each other when you need to be in contact with them can help prevent the spread of the cold and flu virus as well as Covid-19.

You cannot transmit the flu or cold virus sexually although being in contact with your partner can spread the flu or cold virus from or to your partner.

Although when you're in contact with someone who has the flu then you can catch the flu by being near them and in contact with them.

So if you or someone has the flu or a cold virus or are sick then you should avoid sex as you don't want to catch anything or spread it to others.

And you likely won't be feeling very energetic anyway to have sex.

Some foods you can eat when you have the flu and no appetite are some ramen noodles, warm chicken noodle soup, a bowl of warm noodles, or even some crackers.

When you have no appetite when you have the flu a good thing to eat is some warm chicken noodle soup or try snacking on some crackers.

You might also sip on some warm broth or eat some ramen noodles.

However if you don't feel like eating then at least sip on some broth and drink some water, juice etc.

When I have the flu and have a loss of appetite I eat foods such as noodles, chicken noodle soup, Ramen Noodles, sip on chicken broth, some toast, or even a bit of ice cream.

Just take it slow when eating some foods and if you can't get it down then that's okay you can go a few days without food if you really cannot get the food down.

But try eating something to help provide your body with some additional energy.

Even just a cup of soup is better than eating nothing at all.

Also make sure to stay hydrated by drinking water, orange juice, tea etc.

You need those fluids to stay healthy and help flush out the virus.

When you have the flu you lose your appetite sometimes which is normal because your brain chemistry changes because of an increase in production of chemicals which are known as cytokines.

The increase in these chemicals drives down your appetite to conserve energy for fighting off short-term illnesses such as the flu, cold etc.

A loss of appetite is a common symptom of the flu.

When you have the flu your body may feel hungry but you may not want to eat at all or very little.

Your body is using more energy to fight off the flu and your body is likely telling you that it doesn't want any food at the moment so you lose your appetite.

When I have the flu I get hungry which is normal when we don't eat but I have to force food down my throat because it seems like my body is saying no don't feed me.

But I try to eat some Ice Cream, Chicken Noodle Soup or any other easy to consume foods.

I still need to eat to have at least some energy but there are some times when I have the flu that I cannot eat for at least a few days.

But I still drink some water, orange juice tea etc to stay hydrated.

Once the flu is over you should regain your appetite.
