Can lawyers talk about their cases?

Are lawyers allowed to talk about their cases to other people outside the courthouse like if they go home can the lawyers disclose their cases to their family or friends or must they keep their lawyer cases confidential?

Lawyers are not supposed to discuss a clients case outside the courtroom and is suppose to keep everything between the client and the lawyer confidential outside the courtroom.
