Being out in nature affects your mental health in a good way as nature is very calming, relaxing, and uplifting and it can help improve your mood.

Being in nature can generate a multitude of positive emotions which include calmness, joy, creativity and can facilitate concentration.

Nature connectedness is also associated with lower levels of poor mental health; in particular lower depression and anxiety levels.

Staying indoors too long can make you ill and lead to mental health issues as well.

Staying indoors too much can lead to breathing issues and other health issues due to breathing in stale air and also if you don't get outside into the sunlight you can increase your risk of cancer and also get depression, anxiety and other mental health problems as a result of the lack of sunlight.

Being out in the sunlight provides your body with some needed Vitamins such as Vitamin D.

Well all need to be outdoors as much as possible instead of being inside too much.

Humans were meant to be outdoors and not meant to be cooped up inside the house or in a building too long.

When in isolation you can go insane in as little as a few hours to as long as 24 to 48 hours.

For example a prisoner who is in solitary confinement for a few hours may go insane although some of those inmates may not go insane until 24 hours to 48 hours.

The longer you're in isolation the more you go insane which is why some prisoners who are in isolation typically begin going crazy and cutting themselves etc.

If you don't socialize you can go insane if you need socialization.

Not everyone needs to socialize or wants to socialize so if you don't want to socialize with people you don't need too and nothing will happen.

For some people if they don't socialize the lack of socialization can lead to stress and loneliness, which can negatively affect physical as well as mental health.

The length of time it takes for someone to go insane or crazy without human contact is between a few days to a month.

However the time for each individual to go insane without human contact varies from person to person and some people are actually okay and can go forever without human contact without going insane.

I'm one of those people.

I can spend months alone and never go insane without human contact.

As long as I can get outside or go somewhere even by myself I'm just fine.

I spent a few months alone in the woods before and I was just fine.

I loved it so much and would love to move out there someday in a cabin all by myself.

My sister on the other hand would go insane within a few days of being out in the woods alone as she loves having human contact.

Some humans need social interaction with people and other humans hate being around people for too long.

I can stand being around some people for a little while but not all the time.

I prefer being alone and I'm okay with that.
