I would rather change diapers than potty train my kid?

I have a 4 year old boy who I've tried potty training before and he just refuses to potty train and would just pee or poop his pants regardless.

I got tired of trying to potty train him and just put him back in diapers.

Honestly I find it easier to just keep him in diapers all the time and change his diapers than try to potty train him.

Also it's easier for me to change a diaper even in public than to run my kid to the toilet so much.

My mom said I should have him potty trained but I honestly don't care if he's not potty trained and would change his diapers until he's 18.

Changing diapers to me is much easier than trying to potty train.

If he wants to stay in diapers until he's 18 then that is fine with me.

I expect him to still be in diapers at age 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and beyond and I'm honestly okay with that.

I would also rather change diapers than potty train my kids.

I believe that kids personally do not need or require potty training and the kid will potty train when and if they are ready and not before.

When I hear of kids being potty trained by age 18 months I just think about how in reality it's the parents that are potty trained and not the kid.

At 18 months a child cannot recognize the need to pee or poop and get themselves to the toilet and they also lack some of the needed bladder control and bowel control.

When you think about it and you're working to potty train at 18 months to 2 years old you're having to take the child to the toilet yourself and help them wipe and pull down their pants and clothes and pull them back up.

That is not potty trained.

Also if you have to stop and take the child to the toilet every 30 minutes or so then the child is not ready.

Keep the child in a diaper until they are ready even if that means past 4 years of age.

A child who begins potty training at age 18 months to 2 years old is not fully potty trained anyway until around 3 to 4 years old.

And some kids still pee their pants by age 5 to 8 years old and in that case a diaper is much better than wet pants.

I have a 5 year old boy who is not potty trained yet and he's not interested.

He still wets his diaper regularly without thinking about it and I've asked him if he wants to use the toilet but he does not want to use the toilet.

He says he would rather wear the diaper and so I'm okay with that.

He can wear and use diapers as long as he wants too.

He wears a size 7 Gentle Steps diaper which is cheap and I can afford them.

Diapers are so much easier to deal with than wet pants or having to run him to the toilet when out in public.

Honestly kids do not need potty training.

When kids are ready to potty train they will eventually go to the toilet on their own.

Potty training kids is actually a waist of time and kids will stop wearing diapers when they are ready.
