Why do parents let their kid walk around in just a diaper in public?

I believe that it's tacky and disgusting to look at a kid of age 2 years old or even 3 years old and above to be out wearing just a diaper in public.

Sometimes the kid is wearing a shirt and shoes with the diaper but even though it's hot out a toddler that is ages 2 and 3 years old should be wearing shorts or pants over their diaper.

The diaper is underwear and adults don't wear just underwear outside so a toddler should not be.

I can understand a tiny baby wearing just a diaper but when a baby gets to at least 2 years old the kids diapers should be covered up in public.

I also find that tacky and just wrong for a 2 year old or above to be out in public wearing just a diaper.

The just a diaper and shirt look or just a diaper does not look cute at all.

A child of 2 years old or more should be properly dressed in pants or shorts when they are wearing either a diaper or underwear.

A diaper is just an absorbent form of underwear and underwear is to be covered up in public.

It's not that much hotter for the child to have a pair of shorts over the diaper.

There's no reason a child needs to be out in public wearing just a diaper without any pants.

Please parents at least put a pair of shorts over your kids diaper if they are 2 years old or above.

I would never let my kids out in public wearing just a diaper.

Sure at home in your house or in your yard it's just fine for them to wear just a diaper but in public people wear clothes and toddlers and children in diapers should wear clothes as well.

A diaper is underwear and in public the diaper should be covered up especially once the child is 2 years old or even 3 years old.

I can understand a young baby of 1 year old or under where they had a diaper blowout and got poop on the clothes they were wearing.

Then if they need to wear just the diaper it's okay.

However at a point in a child's life they should wear clothing such as pants or shorts over their diaper in public.

It's not cute to see a 2 year old, 3 year old or even 4 year old wearing just a diaper in public.

Keep a spare set of pants or shorts in the car at all times for your child that's wearing diapers.

Just in case a diaper leaks urine or pee on the pants or shorts you can still put a new pair of pants or shorts on the kid over their diaper.

I hate it when I see a toddler of over 1 year old walking around in just diapers.

If the child can walk around they need to wear pants or shorts over their diaper in public.

In your private yard it's fine but not in public.

I've heard that parents take their kid out in just diapers because it's too hot or the kid messed his or her clothes up.

But that still is not a good excuse when you can keep extra clothes with you.

A baby or toddler wearing just a diaper in public is not cute or acceptable by most people and most people are disgusted by it even though they tolerate it.

Also changing diapers in public in front of people is also gross and not acceptable.

It may be legal to wear just a diaper in public as an adult.

But that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.

I would be so disgusted seeing an adult or even a teenager wearing just a diaper in public walking around.

At home in your private yard is fine or way out in the woods somewhere but please don't do that in public.

I even think it's wrong for babies and toddlers to be out in public wearing just the diaper.

Even in summertime you can put shorts on the kid to cover the diaper and a shirt to help protect them from sunburn.

The baby or toddler will not be any hotter wearing shorts.

Babies and toddlers wearing just diapers is not cute and is disgusting.

It's not that hard to keep extra shorts, shirts and pants in the car so that you can change them into new clothes if they get them pooped on or dirty.

Try that with multiple boys under age 4 I can see worse things. You want to see offensive how a about a fat women wearing workout pants that's gross. If you are offended by a toddler wearing only a diaper and a shirt grow up. There plenty more worse things as long as it's not a dirty diaper they are wearing what's the issue?

A lot of kids don't like to keep their clothes on and it can be difficult to keep them in clothes.

A kid wearing a diaper is not offensive and nothing is wrong with it.

I actually find it cute for a toddler, baby or even a kid to be wearing just a diaper and shirt or just a diaper.

We think that up to the age of about two years it is no problem to let a child run around outside only in diapers. Toddlers in diapers are really nothing special. But if an older child is still wearing diapers, then you should be careful. Our older boy often wears only a T-shirt and a diaper at home, but outside the house the diaper is always covered by pants.

What is wrong with it. If the child is comfortable then that's what matters. I have 5 boys under age 6 and if that's what they want is fine. As long as if it's hot out. And they must not be having a dirty diaper on. But after a while they will see other boys their age wearing clothes and they will want to also. But some of my children have allergies to some of the clothes so I'm not going to make them suffer wearing clothes when they are little now later on yes they will need to wear clothes. But let kids be kids. If you don't like it look the other way. Hell I don't like certain car companies do I say people that drive that make are wrong I may think it but unless you are the person that's responsible for the kids mind your own business.

I agree there's nothing wrong with toddlers and kids wearing just diapers in public or out in their yard or anywhere else as long as the weather is warm.

My parents used to keep me in just my diaper as a toddler and baby in the summer months.

My 3 year old son goes out in just his diaper and shirt in the summer and goes to the store that way too.

Even my almost 8 year old son who is urinary incontinent and needs to wear diapers all the time is out in the yard in just his diaper and even in the house and at the park sometimes that way as well.

He prefers just his diaper, shirt and sometimes shoes and at home my almost 8 year old son is wearing just his diaper, shirt and socks.

I personally think he looks cute that way just like his little brother.

To me there's nothing offensive about toddlers, older kids or even babies wearing just diapers in public or anywhere else.

First of all your boys should be toilet trained and out of diapers as most kids are by 2 years. Night times excluded.  however it is not cute or acceptable to have kids in public in just a diaper. Its very tacky and quite gross. Please have respect as 99% of people find it very unsettling.

It's quite unsettling people find it cute. My 3 boys and girl refused to be caught in just their diaper. They were toilet trained early and understood the diaper was their toilet and should be covered as no one wants to see where you deficate.

Kids and babies and toddlers are cute wearing just their diaper, shirt and shoes or just the diaper.

There's nothing wrong with a baby, toddler or kid running around when it's hot out or warm out and wearing the diaper exposed.

I find it very cute.

Honestly if a woman or girl can wear a string bikini in public a child or baby or toddler should be able to wear a diaper in public without it being covered up.

It's also easier to change the diaper when there's no pants or shorts over it.

Also kids and toddlers rip off their clothes and it's hard to keep them on them.

Honestly when I'm at home I'm stripped down to just my undies and my kids are too.

My toddlers always ran around in just diapers at home and even in public when it's hot and warm out.

Nothing wrong with it.

I remember seeing a kid of around 8 years old who was Autistic running around in the park with just his diaper, shirt and shoes on.

He hated clothes and would only wear the shirt and shoes.

But his shorts would always come off when it was hot out.

Nothing wrong with it and I didn't even find it offensive to see the older kid who was around 8 years old in just his diaper.

If the Naked Cowboy in NY can run around in his underwear without it being offensive then why can't toddlers, kids, babies and even adults go around in their diapers.

To be honest I remember also seeing an adult who looked to be around 20 years old who is a male and he was wearing just a diaper, shirt and his shoes one hot day walking on the beach.

I didn't find that offensive either.
