Most men begin to recover somewhat from prostate removal surgery within a week or two.

After a week or two after the prostate removal surgery you can usually begin driving again but you still should avoid any heavy lifting or other straining activities until around 6 weeks after the prostate removal surgery.

Most men do recover fully from prostate removal surgery within 6 to 8 weeks.

However sometimes depending on your body you may not be feeling fully recovered and fully feeling back to your old self until around 3 months.

So just avoid straining yourself and lifting heavy objects for at least 6 weeks and then slowly get back to your normal activities.
