Driving through a toll booth without paying In Kansas and most other states will not be as serious of an offense as you might imagine.

I drove through a toll booth in Kansas accidentally without paying one day on a road trip at night and thought I was gonna get pulled over by the police but nothing happened to me on the road trip.

However a couple weeks later I got the bill in the mail and had a certain amount of time to pay up the toll fee which was around $25.00 due to a camera enforcement fee.

So it cost me a little bit more than the actual toll booth cost would have been but it wasn't too expensive.

I just sent in a check a few days later and nothing happened to me.

So if you do accidentally go through a toll booth just keep going on and do not try to back up or turn around because that can cause problems and even a crash.

Just keep going to your destination and you'll get a bill in the mail to pay and if you pay the bill then that will be all that happens.

As it's already said you won't face serious consequences but still, you have to pay the fine. Cams and other tracking systems will recognize your car easily. In order to avoid these problems, it's better to get an E-Zpass www.e-zpassny.com account. It's affordable and makes driving easier.
