How long can you go without paying rent before you get an eviction notice?

The amount of time you can go without paying your rent payment depends on the landlord.

Usually you can go up to 30 days without paying the rent before the landlord will send you a pay or quit notice.

Then if you do not pay up the rent or move out then the landlord can file for eviction through court and then you'll have to appear in court.

The judge will then order you to either pay up or leave the premises and if you do neither in the time frame that the judge says you have to do so.

Then the judge will send a cop to your place and have you forcefully evicted.

Evictions can take from 1 month to 3 months before it actually happens where you're forced out of the rental place.
