How best to relieve my tooth pain?

I've been having terrible tooth pain that has been bothering me for about 4 days now and I thought the tooth pain would go away by now.

I've also had swelling of my gums making my top lip look fat.

I can't afford a dentist and don't have any dental insurance. How can I relieve my tooth pain at home without a dentist?

Try gargling with some salt water or even sucking on some ice.
