I've never seen any other alternative machines to coinstar. But you can take your coins to your bank and they should have a sorting machine that counts and sorts your change out.
Some might charge a fee if you don't deposit the money into the bank. But if you deposit the change into your checking or savings account then they will most likely do it for free.
I know my bank will count out all the change with their change counting and sorting machine for free if I deposit the money into my checking account.
