Most manufactures of vehicles recommend that you get your wheels aligned or a wheel alignment done every other oil change which would be every 6,000 miles.
That is a good thing to do if you can afford to have the wheel alignment done that often but I only get my wheel alignment done every 15,000 or 20,000 miles.
That is unless I notice my tires are wearing out unevenly or I replace a tie rod etc.
I would think personally that having a wheel alignment done every 6,000 miles would be too often but everyone is different and it's not gonna hurt to have the wheel alignment done that soon.
Some tire shops will perform a wheel alignment when they install new tires if you buy 4 tires from them and have them install them.
But sometimes you'll need to pay for a wheel alignment which can cost $100.00 to $200.00 depending on the shop.
