Is it harder to run in the cold or heat?

For me personally I find it much harder to run in cold weather and it's easier for me to run in warm or hotter weather.

When you're running in cold weather your muscles are more tight due to the cold weather which makes it harder for your body to move faster than when your muscles are loose because of the warm weather.

I run much easier and faster when it's warm and run much slower in the cold weather.
