Some Pembroke Corgis are born with naturally short tails that look like they've been docked and some Pembroke Corgis are even born with their tail missing.
But those Pembroke Corgis that do have their tails docked get them done by their owners because of tradition and as a measure of conformation to the breeds standards.
But in some countries docking has become illegal.
