You should avoid using a steam floor cleaner for cleaning Vinyl floors since the hot steam when applied to the Vinyl floors could warp the Vinyl.
Even using just hot water to mop the Vinyl floor could warp it.
Use a mop with floor cleaner and cool or warm water or use a Swiffer Wet Jet which is safe to use on Vinyl Floors.
