When the female mosquito bites you and gets the blood it's after then the female mosquito will then go back to it's habitat wherever that is and then rest for a few days and then lay it's eggs to produce more mosquitoes.
Only the female mosquitoes bite and feed off your blood and the males do not bite you.
Male Mosquitoes feed and thrive on fruit and the females do as well but the females need your blood because it gives the female mosquito the protein it needs.
