Can strep throat go away without antibiotics?

Antibiotics don't speed up the process of the healing of strep throat so the strep throat will still take up to 7 days to go away with or without antibiotics.

Antibiotics will only prevent you from being contagious while having the strep throat so antibiotics aren't needed unless you want to take some so you won't be contagious.

The strep throat will eventually go away on it's own by 7 days.
