Lifespan of crt computer monitor?

I have a crt computer monitor that I've been using as a second monitor and it's 12 years old and showing no signs of quitting yet.

I want to get another lcd but not until this crt bites the dust. Do you think the crt monitor will be on it's way out soon?

You probably have awhile to wait for that monitor to quit on you.

I'm currently using an old Microscan 4GADI monitor made in May 1993. I was 5 years old in 1993 and I'm 28 will be 29 March 8th 2017 so that makes this monitor 23 going on 24 years old.

You have at least another 12 years I'd say out of that monitor depending on how much you use it.
