I have a wordpress blog and I'm on shared hosting with it.

Traffic was low for awhile but now I'm starting to get 3,000 daily visitors to my blog. Should I be looking at upgrading to a bigger hosting account or even it's own dedicated server?

I hope I don't have to upgrade just yet as I don't have the cash outlay until I get paid.

3,000 visitors a day shouldn't be a problem on a shared host. That is if you get a good web host.

Even 10,000 daily site visitors should be okay for your wordpress site. Anything above that I'd recommend moving to a vps at least.

A good shared host should be able to support more than 3,000 daily visitors with ease.

That is if your wordpress site isn't running a lot of poor written plugins.
