Yes Pandas can and do have twins.

Over half of the panda births do result in the panda giving birth to twin pandas so it's a very high chance that the panda will give birth to twin baby pandas.

Some Pandas only give birth to one baby Panda and sometimes they give birth to twin pandas.

Most Pandas and especially Giant Pandas will actually sadly abandon the baby pandas if she gives birth to twin Pandas.

So it's rare that the twin pandas survive unless they get taken care of somehow.

There are a few Pandas that are in a US Zoo.

The two pandas are giant pandas that live in the Washington DC Zoo.

Mei Xiang and Tian Tian are the two giant pandas that have been living in and residing in the Washington DC Zoo for many years.

When it comes to Pandas and Zoos in the USA it can be hard to find Zoos that do have Pandas in them but outside the USA such as China you may find more Pandas.

China has most of the Pandas but the USA has a few.

Most Pandas however reside and live outside the USA.

China is the country where most of the Pandas live and wild pandas live only in remote, mountainous regions in central China.

China is where most Pandas live because of the high bamboo forests which are cool and wet which is just how the pandas like it.
