Chickens usually do not drink any water at night unless they are thirsty enough.

However most chickens will just drink enough water through the day and then when it's time for bed the chicken will return to it's roost at night and sleep soundly until morning.

So there's no need to keep any food out or water them again until the next morning.

Only put out enough food for the chickens to eat through the day and do not put anymore food out for the chickens until the next morning.

The chickens will not get up to eat or drink at night so there's no need to put chicken feed out at night as it could get rained on or attract other animals.

So just feed the chicken enough through the day and keep plenty of water for them.

It's okay to leave water in the chicken pen or chicken coop overnight but they will not drink any water at night.
