Does cancer cause someone to lose their hair?

When someone has cancer I notice that the persons hair goes away? Is it the cancer that causes the hair loss in cancer patients or is it something else?

Will a cancer patients hair grow back?

Actually it's not the cancer itself that causes someone to lose their hair when they have cancer.

It's actually the chemo that the cancer patient goes through that causes the hair loss in the cancer patient.

Most times the hair will grow back but sometimes it doesn't.
