For a 2 year old child the normal lead level for a 2 year old is any lead level under 5 mcg/dL.

If the 2 year old child's lead level gets to above or at 5 mcg/dL then it can be unsafe and the 2 year old would need to be monitored for lead levels more closely or be treated.

While the normal lead level for a 2 year old is considered to be under 5 mcg/dL there really is no safe lead level for 2 year olds or anyone.

But the average lead level test result  for 2 year olds and other young children is around 1.4 micrograms per deciliter (µg/dL).

And any lead levels higher than that could indicate a health issue and the lead levels should or probably will need to be treated.
