Does an apple a day really keep the doctor away?

I used to hear this a lot from my mom. She used to say that if you eat an apple a day you will keep the doctor away.

How healthy are apples and what are apples health benefits?

My mom used to say the same thing.

Yes apples are indeed a healthy food to eat. And you should eat apples for good health.

But just eating apples won't keep you away from the doctor.

Apples are very healthy although they don't fully keep the doctor away.

Apples have been linked to numerous health benefits, including improved gut health and reduced risk of stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and some cancers.

Eating an apple every day is unlikely to harm your health. However, it's possible to have too much of a good thing, and eating multiple apples each day may cause several adverse side effects.

Based on its overall nutritional profile, Granny Smith is the healthiest apple variety you can choose.

It offers low sugar, high fiber, high mineral levels, and was shown to improve the gut bacteria associated with reducing obesity.

As per studies, you should eat an apple in the morning hours.

This is because apples are rich in dietary fiber, pectin, which is found in its peel.

Since most people have digestive issues due to improper sleep or late eating habits, apples right in the morning, after waking up is a good idea.

Natural compounds found in apples and other fruits may help to stimulate the production of new brain cells, which could have implications for learning and memory, according to a new study by researchers at the University of Queensland, and the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases.

Apples are LIKELY SAFE for most people, as long as the seeds aren't eaten.

No side effects are generally known or expected to occur with apple fruit or apple juice.

Apple seeds, however, contain cyanide and are poisonous.

Eating enough seeds (in one case, one cup of apple seeds) can cause death.
