If you're driving or even riding in a car without your seat belt on and the police notice you'll get pulled over and written a ticket.
The cost of the seat belt ticket can vary from state to state but in most states the seat belt ticket is around $90.00 to $100.00
Some places the seat belt ticket is around $300.00 which is expensive.
Personally I think it's none of the polices business or the governments business if you fail to wear a seat belt and it should be our choice.
But it's not and so we have to wear our seat belts.
I agree with enforcing child seat belt laws and child restraint systems for babies and young children but adults should have a choice.
It's all about money though as they make money writing seat belt tickets.
