Thinking of getting rid of dish network tv for youtube?

I have Dish Network and I'm still under contract for another year but I'm thinking of getting rid of Dish Network since I don't watch too much TV and when I do I tend to watch youtube on my television.

I can pick shows and even user generated videos to watch instead of the same old boring Dish Network TV.

Is Cable TV and Dish Network even needed anymore since we have youtube TV now?

I got rid of Dish Network a year ago and haven't missed it at all.

Saves me a lot of money too. I doubt that Dish Network and Cable TV will go away completely anytime soon but I see a decline in people who sign up for the services.
