Try spraying your dog with a water bottle and they'll usually learn that when they see the bottle that they should shut up.
Squirting water on your dogs face isn't going to hurt them.
They also make bark collars you can buy that helps stop barking. It's puts out a vibration that your dog won't like and usually the sight of the collar itself too will also stop the barking eventually.
