Central air conditioner dims my lights when it comes on?
When my central air conditioner starts up I noticed it just started dimming the lights way down and they don't fully brighten up again until the central air conditioner shuts off again?

Is this something I should be concerned about?

If it only dims the lights when it starts and then the lights go bright again then that is very normal.

Central air conditioners draw a lot of amperage when running and a lot more when the ac compressor first starts.

If your lights are still dim while the central ac is running then you might have a loose neutral wire that an electrician may need to look at.
