Mesothelioma which is a cancerous tumor of the tissue that lines the lungs, stomach, heart, and other organs is most commonly caused by breathing in asbestos fibers.

When you breath in asbestos fibers they travel to the ends of the small air passages and reach the pleura, where they can cause inflammation and scarring.

Mesothelioma cannot be cured but treatment can help you live a little longer life.

When you have Mesothelioma you'll most commonly experience symptoms such as.

  • Dry cough or wheezing.
  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea)
  • Respiratory complications.
  • Pain in the chest or abdomen.
  • Fever or night sweats.
  • Pleural effusion (fluid around the lungs)
  • Fatigue.
  • Muscle weakness
