Mesothelioma is most commonly caused by breathing in Asbestos fibers which then irritate the lungs and other organs.

When asbestos fibers are breathed in, they then travel to the ends of small air passages and reach the pleura, where they can cause inflammation and scarring.

Signs and Symptoms of Mesothelioma which is a cancerous tumor of the tissue that lines the lungs, stomach, heart and many other organs are.

  • Dry cough or wheezing.
  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea)
  • Respiratory complications.
  • Pain in the chest or abdomen.
  • Fever or night sweats.
  • Pleural effusion (fluid around the lungs)
  • Fatigue.
  • Muscle weakness.
