If you get to a hotel room and you find that the hotel room has bed bugs then the first thing you should do is contact the front desk of the hotel and alert the hotel staff of the bed bug problem.
They may be unaware of the issue or have had the hotel room treated for bed bugs and they came back or they could've been transferred to the hotel room from another hotel guest.
You need to notify the hotel staff right away as soon as you notice the bed bugs in the hotel room so they can rectify the situation and they just either refund you your money or put you in another hotel room while they have the hotel room exterminated for bed bugs.
To prevent infestation and prevent bed bugs traveling back with you ask for a garbage bag and tightly seal all of your belongings inside the garbage bag.
Next Transfer all of your washable clothes to a different garbage bag outside of your hotel room and take the clothes to the washing machine inside of the new bag.
Wash the clothes on the hot cycle and dry the clothes on the highest temperature setting for at least 30 minutes to kill any bugs or eggs.
Leave the rest of your belongings inside the garbage bag in the sun, where the internal temperature will reach 120 degrees or higher or if it's cold out you can place the garbage bag in a freezer overnight to kill the bedbugs.
