You can live with one kidney as some people donate a kidney and live with one of their kidneys just fine but you will need to adjust your lifestyle and diet afterwards.

You cannot live without your kidneys although you can live without one of your kidneys.

Your kidneys are important in filtering out toxins from your body and without the kidneys those toxins build up in the body and eventually cause death.

You can have chemo safely with stage 4 kidney disease.

The use of chemotherapeutic agents as single agents or in combination can safely be given to people with stage 4 or end stage kidney or renal disease.

Stage 4 kidney disease cannot and will not get better and the only way to keep a person alive with stage 4 kidney disease or other kidney disease is through dialysis or a kidney transplant.

Some people may simply have other kidney problems but not need dialysis or a kidney transplant but others who have kidney disease that is leading to kidney failure need dialysis or a kidney transplant to survive.

Stage 4 kidney failure is terminal without dialysis or a kidney transplant.

Stage 4 kidney failure is one of the most serious stages of kidney failure and death will usually occur within a few weeks or so if you fail to get dialysis or stop dialysis or don't get a kidney transplant.

Kidney failure is a serious health issue which is when your kidneys have stopped working well enough for you to survive without dialysis or a kidney transplant.

When you have kidney failure your kidneys have lost their ability to filter waste from your blood.

Kidney failure is also called end-stage kidney disease (ESKD) or end-stage renal disease (ESRD).

Without dialysis or a kidney transplant you will eventually die as toxins build up in your body.

Decreased urine output, although occasionally urine output remains normal.
Fluid retention, causing swelling in your legs, ankles or feet.
Shortness of breath.
Fatigue.
Confusion.
Nausea.
Weakness.
Irregular heartbeat.

Kidney disease can be detected in urine through urine tests as well as blood tests.

Kidney disease means your kidneys are damaged and can't filter blood the way they should.

You are at greater risk for kidney disease if you have diabetes or high blood pressure.

If you experience kidney failure, treatments include kidney transplant or dialysis.

The 3 early warning signs of kidney disease include.

1: Dizziness and Fatigue. One of the first possible signs of weakening kidneys is the experience of overall  weakness in yourself and your overall health.
2: Swelling (Edema)
3:Changes in urination.

Other signs of Kidney Disease include.

You're more tired, have less energy or are having trouble concentrating.
You're having trouble sleeping.
You have dry and itchy skin.
You feel the need to urinate more often.
You see blood in your urine.
Your urine is foamy.
You're experiencing persistent puffiness around your eyes.

Changes in your fingernail color can also be an indicator of kidney disease.

Renal Failure fingernails will usually be more white in color or Jaundice color or normal to reddish brown color.

When people have kidney disease, nitrogen waste products build up in our bodies.

Your kidneys are not filtering those products out properly.
