Kava does affect blood pressure and can lower your blood pressure but it can also impact blood clotting.

You can bring down your blood pressure by drinking water, doing breathing exercises and or drinking some coffee with some cinnamon in it or eating foods with cinnamon.

Taking blood pressure medications can also lower your blood pressure quickly but if the blood pressure is too high and won't go down then you should call 911 or seek medical attention right away.
