Genuine Parts Company is who owns Napa Auto Parts.

Genuine Parts Company is an American service organization engaged in the distribution of automotive replacement parts, industrial replacement parts, office products and electrical/electronic materials.

NAPA is a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Co. (NYSE:GPC), a distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts.

With over 1,500 company-owned stores and over 5,000 independently-owned stores, Genuine Parts Co. continues to lead the way in the automotive repair industry.

Valvoline is who makes oil for Napa auto parts.

Napa parts are as good as most other auto parts including OEM auto parts.

Napa Auto Parts are made by several different auto parts manufacturers.

Napa does not make their own parts although they have their brand on it but they can be from a bunch of different auto parts companies.

Most aftermarket auto parts and other aftermarket parts as just as good as OEM.

However it's possible for some types of OEM parts such as electrical parts to be worse quality than OEM.

Certain aftermarket parts do devalue a car or other vehicle.

For example aftermarket body parts such as fenders, taillights, headlights etc can devalue a car although aftermarket engine parts, brakes, ball joints, belts etc do not typically devalue a car.

OEM is cheaper than original as OEM lowers the production costs for other companies that might not have the full capacity to produce the items they need.

OEM parts are more reliable than aftermarket parts.

They are made to the same standards as the original parts, and they are often backed by a warranty.

Aftermarket parts, on the other hand, can vary in quality.

Some aftermarket parts are made to high standards, but others are not.

Genuine parts are not any better than OEM parts as OEM and genuine parts are the same although OEM parts are sometimes cheaper than genuine parts.

The difference between OEM and factory parts is OEM parts are parts made by the manufacture or made for them to their specification by an external company.

Factory parts are a part supplied by the vehicle manufacturer in their packaging.

The difference between OEM and genuine parts is a genuine part is a part that is supplied by the vehicle manufacturer in their packaging.

An OEM part or Original Equipment part is a part that is made for them to their specifications but from an external company.

OEM parts are better than aftermarket parts in most cases and for some parts.

However some aftermarket parts are just as good as OEM parts and are cheaper.

It is OK to use non OEM parts although if your vehicle is still under warranty the use of non OEM parts can void your vehicles warranty.

However if your car is not under warranty or you have the car paid off there's nothing wrong with using aftermarket non OEM car parts which can be just as good as OEM parts and cheaper.

However electrical parts are better when bought as OEM as they last longer than non OEM electrical car parts.

The best brand of aftermarket car parts is Dorman, Bosch, Spectra and Delphi.

Duralast auto parts are also good aftermarket car parts.

It is better to buy car parts online if you don't need the car parts right away.

If you need the car parts right away then it's better to buy them at an auto parts store but if you can wait for the car part then it's best to buy the car parts online as they can be cheaper than buying car parts in store.

The best place to buy auto parts online is RockAuto, eBay, Partsgeek.com and Amazon.com

These are the places where I buy my auto parts from.

Most auto parts I buy from eBay although sometimes I can only find the auto parts I need at RockAuto, Amazon or Partsgeek.

You can get most auto parts online cheaper than you can in an auto parts store.
