Daycare wants my potty trained son back in diapers?

My son was potty trained right when he turned 3 years old.

He would still have accidents but he was almost 100% at home and about a one-a day accident at school.

These accidents were almost always b.m.

He has still after three months not had a b.m. in the potty at school.

The daycare wants him to be put back in diapers.

The daycare teachers think he's not ready for potty training and that he needs to articulate it himself that he has to go to the bathroom.

But I think putting him in diapers will be a step backwards.

He won't need to hold it (which he can for over an hour).

The daycare wanting him back in diapers is in the wrong and your son should not have to wear diapers again at daycare because he has some accidents.

Kids have accidents even when being fully potty trained and you simply have to deal with it and clean them up and have them change into some fresh clean pants and underwear.

Maybe have him wear a pull up but not full on diapers.

If my kids daycare wanted my potty trained kid back in diapers I would not put them back in diapers but would just send extra underwear and pants.

If they still insisted or forced my kid to wear diapers when they were just having some accidents I would find a new daycare.

Having him wear diapers in daycare will be confusing to him and he would regress most likely to using diapers again and you would most likely have to restart the potty training again.
