When I was living in New York I was using Allstate for my automobile insurance but after a year with Allstate in New York I switched my Auto Insurance to Geico which I found to be the cheapest car insurance with the cheapest rates in New York.
As long as you have a good driving record I would go with Geico for Auto Insurance in New York or anywhere else.
