When you have a puppy you should wait until the puppy is 8 weeks old before bathing the puppy.
When you do bathe the puppy you only really need to give the puppy a bath once per month but you can give the puppy a bath more often if they get dirty or roll around in mud.
But other than that once per month or twice per month is good enough for bathing your puppy.
