Dogs make very safe pets and are even good pets for Children as long as the dog is not aggressive and has been trained properly how to act around people.

Dogs are also good companions to people and some have even saved peoples lives such as during a house fire when the family was asleep.

I heard on the news yesterday that a dog woke a guy up in his house when it caught on fire and got him out safely.

The dog that normally wasn't aggressive was aggressive this time for a good reason and was biting on his harm and trying to get him to wake up which he eventually did before the house became engulfed in flames.

So yes dogs do make good pets as long as you can take care of them the dog will likely take care of you as well.
