If you want a Pembroke Welsh Corgi you should be prepared for some health problems that the Pembroke Welsh Corgi may have.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis do tend to have a lot of health problems and those health problems that a Pembroke Welsh Corgi can have are hip dysplasia, eye problems known as "progressive retinal atrophy", retinal dysplasia and persistent pupillary membranes, as well as hypothyroidism.

Most Pembroke Welsh Corgis live a normal lifespan of 12 to 14 years without those problems but they're more at risk for those problems the older they get.
