If you're unable to get approved for a regular credit card due to bad credit or low credit score you can go to Capital One or another credit card company and apply for a Secured Credit card.
The secured credit card will require you to put up a deposit which can vary from credit card company to credit card company.
The deposit however ranges from $200.00 to $500.00 per secured credit card.
You put the deposit up and they approve your credit card, then the amount you deposited becomes your credit limit to spend and when you use the credit card you get a bill and you pay the credit card bill back like you would a normal credit card and overtime this credit card usage and payments will raise your credit score so you can eventually get approved for a regular credit card.
You do get the deposit back after a year or 2 of paying back the secured credit card on time and you use the credit card responsibly.
