The temperature on the moon can get as high 260 F when the sunlight hits the surface of the moon which is very hot.

And once the sun goes down the temperature on the moon can get down to as low as minus 280 F which is very cold.

So in the daytime the moons temperature is very hot as in 260 F and at night it gets really freezing and as low as 280 F.

If you think winter here on earth is cold you would think that the earths temperature is very warm compared to the moons cold temperatures.
