I work in an office but last weekend I did some odd jobs that required manual labor and heavy lifting. The money was needed but after that work I started loving my office job again where I sit behind a computer screen all day.

I know people have to do the manual labor for the world to go on or nothing would get done and my office building wouldn't have been built. "Thanks to those who built the office" I don't know how you did it.

I could never last doing hard manual labor 5 days a week. I was in terrible back pain for the next week.

Do you have back pain? I mean do you have back problems that affect your ability to work manual labor and doing heavy lifting?

You might have back problems and not have known it and the manual labor hurt your back more.

A lot of people get used to the manual labor and are able to do the heavy lifting day in and day out.

Me I can do a little manual labor such as working for around 2 hours and then I have to rest for another 2 hours or so before I can do anymore.

I work odd jobs myself once in awhile when a friend around here in his 80's needs some work done.

He's a landlord and I help him do repairs and such when needed on the houses he rents and help him clean out a self storage facility he owns.

Myself I have back problems and even knee problems so I wouldn't last on a manual labor job if I had to work all day and everyday at it.

My knee problems stem from a wreck I was in when I was 7 years old. A car backed out of a school parking lot and my dad swerved to keep from getting hit and nearly hit a street sign and he slammed the brakes to keep from hitting it and my knees went into the back of the seat in front of me and hit the metal inside of it.

I'm 29 now and will be 30 March 8th of 2018 and as I age it seems my knee problems get worse.

I love to do a lot of my jobs around my house myself but I see myself hiring help in the future for home repairs that require a lot of lifting such as roof replacement that is gonna be needed in the next 7 years.
