When a dog is winking at you it usually means that the dog is being playful and the dog is enticing you to come play with the dog.
If a dog breaks eye contact he/she is avoiding confrontation and being polite and if your dog has narrowed eyes your dog is feeling aggressive but if they're just looking at you and then the dog winks at you then they're in a playful mood and wanting you to play with them.
